Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can you release gold that is already pledged in a bank or finance company?

Yes. We undertake full responsibility to release gold pledged in banks, finance companies, pawning centers, and other registered pawning brokers.

Q. How does the process work and how do I proceed?

To start, customers need to provide us with:

  • The pledge ticket/receipt
  • Details of pending installments or loan amount (principal + interest)
  • A copy of NIC and address proof

Our evaluation team will verify these details and provide you with an estimated value for the pledged gold. Once agreed, we immediately proceed with releasing the gold and continue with the valuation process.

Q. How long does the process take and will I get instant cash?

Once the gold is released, our team conducts a quality evaluation. After verification, the payment is made instantly to the customer.

Q. What is the minimum quantity of gold that can be released?

The minimum quantity for releasing gold is 8 grams.

Q. Can I release only a part of my pledged gold?

No. The entire pledged quantity must be released. The full value of the released gold will then be paid in cash instantly.

Q. What if I am not satisfied with the valuation after the release?

We always provide a prior estimation based on your pledge ticket. The release and payment process will only proceed after you agree and sign our consent form. All transactions are fully transparent, with no hidden charges.

Q. What happens if the valuation after release is lower than expected?

In rare cases, the post-release value may differ due to incorrect or incomplete details provided earlier. If this occurs, the customer will be responsible for settling any difference in the released loan amount versus actual gold value.

Q. Can you release my gold loan from different locations?

Yes. With multiple branches across Sri Lanka, we can handle gold releases from various banks, finance companies, and pawn centers conveniently.

Q. Are there any service charges for gold releasing?

Our gold releasing service is free of charge. However, if you decide not to proceed after we settle the release, a service fee of 5% of the released amount will be applicable.

Q. Will your representative accompany me to the bank or finance company?

Yes. Our authorized representatives will assist you throughout the process. They will deposit the release amount at the respective financial institution, obtain the gold, and complete the transaction in your presence for maximum transparency and security.
